Tropic Culture is a high-energy band that combines sounds of Latin, Jazz, Rock, Reggae and Soul music and it is guaranteed to make your feet move and open your heart with a smile. Brothers Alberto and Jorge Espinosa followed their vision to build a band that would create this genuine sound and it keeps getting hotter and hotter.

Statesville 2010 Tree Lighting,

Kick off the holiday season at the annual Statesville Tree Lighting at the Statesville Civic Center. Santa and friends will arrive by train to light the 21 ft. tree of lights as we celebrate the festive holiday season in downtown Statesville. Free hot cocoa, cider and cookies will be available inside, as well as a kids area with several inflatable games. Children can have their picture taken with Santa for a small fee. Local vendors will be displaying and selling unique specialty items for the holiday shopping season. An outdoor train ride will also be available. Get in the holiday spirit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season at the Statesville Civic Center.
