Our Department is made up of a team of firefighters and administrative staff delivering professional service to a population of approximately 27,000 to a geographical area of over 26 square miles. We currently employ 58 full time personnel staffing 3 fire stations and are building our 4th facility.
We value the history of the Statesville Fire Department. Our Department was built on past leadership; without them we could not see the present possibilities and tackle the challenges of the future. We pride ourselves in being a part of the community and strive to provide a superior service to our customers. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life in the City of Statesville and partner with the other City departments to provide an excellent service to all who live, work, and play in our community.
