About the Division
Captain Joe Barone leads the Communications & Records Division, which consists of civilian positions such as Dispatchers, Data Entry Clerks, Evidence Technician, and Police Service Aide. Among the many types of advanced equipment used or maintained by the division is Enhanced 911, Computer Aided Dispatch, Mobile Data Terminals, computerized records network, and NCIC.

How to Obtain Police Reports
Police reports can be obtained at the Statesville Police Department Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is a $3.00 fee per report. Accident reports can be obtained on-line at click here.
